Over 60 people were killed in a terrorist attack at a Moscow concert hall, with earlier reports stating 40 deaths.
The attackers, wearing camouflage, opened fire and used grenades or incendiary bombs inside the concert hall.
The incident took place at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, a suburb north of Moscow, known for hosting large events.
Russian President Putin is being constantly updated about the attack, as confirmed by his spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Videos showed flames and smoke emerging from the hall, with scenes of chaos inside.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin declared a "terrible tragedy," canceling all city public events for the weekend.
According to security services, 2-5 attackers in tactical gear started shooting at the entrance, then targeted the audience.
Some concert-goers escaped through the theater basement or sheltered on the roof; approximately a third of the complex was on fire.
Russia's Foreign Ministry called the attack a "bloody terrorist attack" demanding international condemnation.
