Ruhani graduated in the year 2017 with a Bachelors of Science degree in economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. She then completed her masters and acquired a master of Science from IGNOU in Economics in 2019. She did all of these while pursuing preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam simultaneously. Her journey reflects her dedication l, willpower, hard work and perseverance. She had devoted two whole years to the Indian Economic Services (IES).
However she really wanted to be a UPSC officer which is why she kept on going and attempting to clear the UPSC civil services examination. Even though she could not clear the exam and faced 4 continuous disappointments, her ambition and focus of wanting to become an IAS officer remained unchanged. Finally after 6 attempts, Ruhani cleared the UPSC CSE civil services exam by securing an outstanding All India Rank of 5.
