Born on October 30, 1991 in the area of Nagina, Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, Junaid Ahmad aced UPSC in the year of 2018 by securing an All India Rank 3. This was his fifth attempt and with 1077 marks, he has become a role model for the aspiring candidates. Junaid completed his schooling from Bijnor and then he proceeded to complete his graduation in Electronic Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University.
He completed his engineering at Sharda University, after which he shifted to Mumbai for the preparation of the UPSC exams. He later moved to Delhi for exercising hard work and practice. Surprisingly, he never scored more than 60% till graduation. However, his hard work made him stand out from the others. With blood, sweat and tears, Junaid spent 7 consecutive years preparing for the UPSC exam to accomplish his dream and turn it into reality. According to him, one can become a hero from zero through dedication and hard work. Junaid is considered as a great motivational speaker.
